Temple Israel of Greater Miami and Membership Financial Commitments
Money is not at the heart of what we do at Temple Israel. The heart of what we do is Torah, Avodah, and G’milut Hasadim—Torah, worship, and deeds of loving kindness. But money is required for us to do what we do.
We have created a variety of membership financial categories that reflect our community’s diversity. At Temple Israel of Greater Miami, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay. During the application process, we welcome you to speak with us in confidence about your financial status.

Leadership Circles
Temple Israel is blessed to have a group of people who contribute more than the standard annual membership and we greatly appreciate their generosity. The following are our Leadership Circle categories:
The Bridge $10,000 +
President’s Circle $5,000 +
Mitzvah Circle $3,600+
Grand Council $3,000
Those members in our Leadership Circles receive public recognition for their generosity. If you are able to contribute at these levels, we hope that you will find it in your heart to do so.
Membership Commitments (age 36 and older)
Our annual Household membership commitment is $2,195.
Our annual Individual membership commitment is $1,495.
New in the Neighborhood
Are you new in the area, or have you recently moved into Temple Israel’s neighborhood (zip codes: 33131, 33132 or 33137)? If the answer is yes, welcome!
Being new in the neighborhood entitles you to complimentary membership for your first year. Please note that life cycle events are not included in this complimentary membership.
Young Adult Membership (under 36 years of age)
The annual membership for a Young Adult Household is $360.
The annual membership for a Young Adult Individual is $250.

Students, Military and Under Age 25
To help students, young people under age 25 and military personnel to stay connected to our congregational family, we extend a complimentary membership to you. Please note that life cycle events are not included in this complimentary membership category.
